Insight Ultrasound offers tailor made courses for clinicians, including emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery, anesthesia, family medicine as well as physician assistants and nurses, seeking to incorporate ultrasound into their practice. A typical outline for courses specific to certain specialties can be found in the link above. - This course offers a brief overview of the general principles and selected applications as well as 2+ hours of hands-on experience. - Upon completion of this course, participants will understand general principles of ultrasound and all the major clinical applications. This course provides enough hands on training for participants to feel comfortable using ultrasound in the emergency department for credentialing exams. - Conducted at Highland Hospital, this experience offers in-depth instruction for physicians. The program is tailored to the specific needs of the participants. Level 3 sonographers give personalized didactic instruction as well as directly supervise participants. Groups that want to implement ultrasound into their departments can send a representative to train at Highland. That person will then be able to take that knowledge back to their institution and help train their fellow physicians.
